During E3 last year, Tom Clancy’s Rainbox Six Siege was shown off to the world. Ever since then The team at Rainbox Six has not released any new information about their new game. How ever, in the near future there should be an open alphas which is currently open for you to sign up for.
According to Ubisoft, there is not an exact date of when the closed test would launch other than being able to register right now. To register you need a UPlay account, which is expected with most Ubisoft titles. The Alpha is only open for PC users and available in Europe and North America. Find out eligible countries HERE.
PC specs have also been released as well. In order to be able to run Rainbox Six Siege, You will need an Intel Core i5-2500K or an AMD FX-8120 CPU, 8GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GTX 670 or AMD HD 7970/R9 280x.
These requirements are specifically for the alpha only and new requirements will be released once final versions of the game have been developed.
Rainbox Six Siege is some what similar to Counter Strike in the way that it puts Counter Terrorists against Terrorists. Currently there isn’t any more information on what game modes Rainbow Six Siege will have, but there is a chance that we may find out during E3 2015.
