With new movies set to hit box offices around the counrty, Green Lanter actor Ryan Reynolds is facing a lot of new questions regarding his new role as the Assassin: Dead Pool.
This film has been in the works for more than a decade and will help Reynolds to recover from some super hero flops.
Reynolds hopes to go about this in a different way than the other super hero movies he has done in the past. X-Men: Origins and Green Lantern were Mega-Buget movies so Reynolds jokes that he is going to wear his own clothes and Costumes for Dead Pool to save money on wardrobe.
While past super hero movies forced some creative compromises, Reynolds says that Dead Pool will not be like that – and that they are making a movie that they hope will appeal to all of the hard core Dead Pool fans more than the average super hero fan.
“We’ve got a director that understands that world, and writers with a slavish devotion to the canon of that character,” Reynolds said, echoing sentiments he’s used before. “That’s the most important aspect: it’s made in a way the most critical of fanboys could embrace. Well, that’s the hope.”
Unfortunately everyone will have to wait until February 12, 2016 to see if the movies lives up to even the most hardcore fan scruitiny.
